And then I discovered that the little girl that I wanted was a boy!

I was convinced from the very beginning that we would have a little girl. I dreamed of little pink dress and lacy socks . . .hair bows, dolls, and dishes.

Two days after my birthday we went back for the second ultrasound. The technician asked if we wanted to know what we were having. We told her we did. As soon as she scanned down Wyatt's little body, it was obvious. We were having a boy. You couldn't miss it on the screen although the pictures aren't as obvious.

All of his other measurements were completely within the normal range and I was sent in to see the doctor.

I remember sitting there just stunned. I was heartbroken. I cried off and on for two days.

But, I finally decided that it was better to have a baby than not . . . and began dealing with the fact that I would have a boy.
