Today we had to go to Riley tio get Wyatt's stint out. The weather was supposed to get pretty nasty this afternoon but I felt sure we would be home by then.
We went thru two parking garages before Scott called the hospital to get directions to the right one. I had Mapquested the route, but construction on the campus threw us off.
Once we got there, we waited about five minutes in the lobbey.
Then, we waited about five minutes in the exam room before the nurse came in. She said that Wyatt has a new yeast infection . . . imagine that. She removed the stint, showed us how to care for everything and told us to make an appointment to see Dr. Rink in 3 months.
What wonderful news!
The drive home started ok, but things started to get worse. We made it home before the worst of the storm hit. But, we ended up getting probably between 4 and 5 inches.
Wyatt's pee pee is starting to look like a normal one.
We did have a funny moment with the nurse. When she took out the stint, I wanted to change his diaper.
Wyatt peed on me! It's the first time he's ever peed up and out . . . I jumped and yelped. That made Wyatt cry. Then, I started laughing . . .
