What's our routine?

Ok, so I went back to work yesterday . . .

Scott called me and asked if I had set the thermostat really low since I wouldn't be home. I told him that I had programmed it to act as if I was home because I knew he would be catching up on some sleep since he plowed snow until 2:30 in the morning.

It became apparent that we needed to call someone about our furnace since the thermostat was set on 72 and it was 66 in the house.

First the bad news . . . we needed to get our furnace fixed. . . well, duh!

Then more bad news . . . we would need a new furnace.

I asked if we could get it done today . . .the answer was yes but it probably wouldn't be done until 7 pm last night.

That's ok. Scott made arrangements for the grandparents to keep Wyatt a little longer and the process got started.

They got the furnace in around 6 . . .we were doing great . . . ahead of schedule. Then, they discovered we were also basically out of propane.

I called the after hours emergency number. I waited on hold for over 5 minutes . . . and they said they would have the local driver call me.

Twenty minutes later he did. He informed me that we were supposed to check our own tank and call them when we got down to 15%. That's not the plan we were told. Obviously, if I knew we had to check it, I would have asked for instructions how to do it and would have marked it on my calendar to check it.

That didn't matter . . .I needed propane . . .right away. He said he would be here between 7:30 and 8. The grandparents showed up about 6:30. I just had them leave Wyatt. I left his jacket on.

We finally got the propane and the furnace kicked on around 8. It took about an hour for the house to get up to the normal temp . . . not too bad.

As it started warming up, I put Wyatt in a warm bath and started his night time routine . . . except that I'm not sure what his routine is anymore.

We had to cut out bathtime for several days after the surgery . . . then we were thrown off by the snow storm . . . and now this . . .I just want my normal level of stress back.
